Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry

Within the LMD system, the Bachelor of Science in Materials Science provides a solid foundation in chemistry while integrating computer tools and artificial intelligence. This degree offers two specializations: Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Degree

The pharmaceutical chemistry degree aims to train future managers for pharmaceutical companies or laboratories by mastering synthesis methods and characterization techniques for molecules used in the manufacture and quality control of medicines.

ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY DEGREE

The analytical chemistry degree aims to train students competent in analytical sciences within a multidisciplinary context. These students are intended to integrate easily into quality control laboratories, both public and private.

General organization of the training

The courses in the first and second years (L1 and L2) are designed to provide students with a solid foundation in chemistry and to develop their autonomy through the acquisition of transversal skills (methodology, expression, general culture, etc.) as well as skills in languages and computer tools.
In the third year (L3), students specialize and consolidate a theoretical, methodological and technical foundation in chemistry, and complete their training with a project, which will be carried out in a professional or academic setting.
Opportunities for international exchange semesters.

Sectors of activity and career opportunities

PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY COURSE
Training in this field allows students to pursue their studies at the master level and offers them career opportunities in drug testing laboratories or throughout the pharmaceutical industry.

ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY PATHWAY
Training in this field allows students to pursue their studies at the Master level and offers them career opportunities in the agri-food industry, the environment or in all chemical industries.
For both programs, there is the possibility of continuing studies at the Master's and Doctoral levels.
